Tervetuloa ensimmäiseen SRY-webinaariin “Sustainable Diets in Chronic Disease Prevention – Population-based Results from the Leg4Life Project” to 5.3. klo 15.00-16.15!
Jäsenistön toiveesta järjestettävä ensimmäinen SRY-webinaari pyörähtää käyntiin nuorten tutkijoiden esityksillä. Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitoksen väitöskirjatutkijat esittelevät Leg4Life-projektin (Legumes for Sustainable Food System and Healthy Life – Palkokasveilla kohti kestävää ruokajärjestelmää ja terveyttä) tuloksia.

16.05-16.15 Q&A
Rilla Tammi (Doctoral researcher, Department of Public Health, University of Helsinki / Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare)
Rilla Mette Marleena Tammi – University of Helsinki
Plant-based diets, the gut microbiome and colorectal cancer risk
Rilla Tammi is a fourth-year doctoral researcher in the field of nutritional epidemiology at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and University of Helsinki (DocPop). Her PhD examines colorectal cancer risk in relation to healthy plant-based diets and the gut microbiome in the Finnish adult population.
Meri Simojoki (Doctoral researcher, Department of Public Health, University of Helsinki / Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare)
Meri J Simojoki – University of Helsinki
Plant-based diets, nutrient intakes, and cardiovascular disease risk
Meri Simojoki is a doctoral researcher in the Doctoral Programme in Population Health (DocPop). Her research examines the impacts of more plant-based diets on nutrient intakes and cardiovascular disease risk in the Finnish adult population.
Tiina Suikki (Doctoral researcher, Department of Public Health, University of Helsinki / Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare)
Tiina Suikki – University of Helsinki
Association between the Planetary Health Diet and anthropometrics
Tiina Suikki is a doctoral researcher in the Doctoral Programme in Population Health (DocPop). Her research examines the relationship between sustainable diets and weight status at the population level.
