SRY:n Nuorten ravitsemustieteilijöiden kevään tapahtuma 23.5.2024
SRY:n Nuorten ravitsemustieteilijöiden työryhmä järjestää ”Ravitsemustiede seuraavat 40-vuotta” tapahtuman torstaina 23.5. klo 15:00-17:00 Kuopiossa. Tapahtuma on päivä ennen Itä-Suomen Yliopiston ”Ravitsemusopetus 40-vuotta” tapahtumaa, josta löydät lisätietoa täältä: https://suomenravitsemustieteenyhdistys.fi/tapahtuma/ravitsemusopetus-40-vuotta/. Tapahtuma järjestetään Itä-Suomen Yliopiston kansanterveystieteen ja kliinisen ravitsemustieteen tiloissa (Yliopistonrinne 3, 70211 Kuopio). Tapahtuma pidetään englanniksi.
Tilaisuus on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti SRY:n nuorille ravitsemustieteilijöille eli kaikille uransa alkuvaiheessa oleville SRY:n jäsenille.
Tapahtuman aikana käymme tutustumassa Itä-Suomen Yliopiston kliinisen ravitsemustieteen tiloihin ja toimintaan. Kuulemme myös lyhyitä esityksiä, millaista ravitsemustieteen tutkimusta eri puolilla Suomea tällä hetkellä tehdään.
Työpajan jälkeen SRY:n nuoret ravitsemustieteilijät tarjoavat osallistujille ravintolaillallisen, jossa pääset verkostoitumaan muiden ravitsemustieteen toimijoiden kanssa, sekä tutustumaan nuorten asiantuntijoiden toimintaan.

SRY Young Nutrition Scientists Spring Event on May 23rd, 2024
SRY’s Young Nutrition Scientists Working Group is organizing an event on “Nutrition science – the next 40 years” on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 15:00 to 17:00 in Kuopio. The event is a day before the ’40 Years of Nutrition Education’ event (find out more here (in Finnish): https://suomenravitsemustieteenyhdistys.fi/tapahtuma/ravitsemusopetus-40-vuotta/. The event includes a workshop and a networking dinner. The workshop will be held at the University of Eastern Finland’s Public Health and Clinical Nutrition premises (Yliopistonrinne 3, 70211 Kuopio). The event is held in English.
The event is primarily intended for young nutrition scientists of SRY, meaning all SRY members in the early stages of their careers.
During the workshop, we will get acquainted with the facilities and activities of the University of Eastern Finland’s Clinical Nutrition unit. We will also hear short presentations on the current nutrition science research conducted across Finland.
After the workshop, SRY will offer the participants a dinner, during which you get to network with other young experts in the field of nutrition and hear more about the activities of SRY’s Young Nutrition Scientists.
